City Moments organized the 2nd traditional German Beer Festival in Shanghai. The event was completely developed by City Moments, from concept to execution. The event was held at Yuanmingyuan Road (near the bund) and lasted four days and welcomed around 8000 guests.
3D Modeling/animation
The process of creating content for 3d real time applications start from sketching ideas.
Once the drawings are validated, the model needs to be build in a 3D software such as 3D Studio Max, Maya, Cinema4D, Blender, etc.
The next step is the texturing part, which starts with UVs creation.
Once texturing is done, the model can be rigged, which means a skeleton will be built and adjusted to the 3D model.
Then, the model can be animated and imported in a 3D real time software such as Unity3D, CryEngine, Unreal engine, etc.
Stage Design
We have an extra devision with talented designers, who make a customized stage according your requirements.
We also supervise the stage production, so that the idea is precisely applied in reality.
3D Mapping
One of our specialities is 3D mapping, also called projection mapping. This impressive show generates an astonishing atmosphere and a lasting memory of the spectators.
These projections will be developed by us or according to the requirments of our clients and adjusted to the circumstances.
Interactive Installations
Regarding to our interactive installations we either follow the ideas of our clients or we develop concepts, which achieve the goals of our clients best.
The interaction can be regulated by movements, guestures, sounds or touching. With this tool of “experiencing marketing” you will generate a long lasting memory for the participants.
City Moments can provide equipment for special occasions like German Beer Festival (Oktoberfest), Christmas marketes or other high quality markets. To meet our high standards the products were customized and supervised by a team of quality management experts from Germany.
These huts are customized to generate a traditional Bavarian & Austrian atmosphere. They perfectly fit for traditional Christmas markets or as high quality ambience for different markets. The length is 4m and the Width is 2m.
These tables were designed be City Moments to match the special requirements for our own Christmas market. The Tables are 2m long have a spacious table top. The roof covers up to 10 people with gives a good shelter in case of rain.
Since City Moments organizes the famous tradtional Bavarian Oktoberfest, we produced customized beer benches with extra good quality. This quality level is unique in Shanghai and meet the German standard “Brauereiqualität”.

The “Schuhplatter” is a very old and traditional Dance in Alpine regions in Bavaria and Austrian region Tyrol. The young male performers clap, stomp and slap their feet, shoes with their flat hand, which generates a sound. There are plenty of different variations which fits to different traditional Alpine melodies.
With a bunch of different traditional cow bells our musicians can play perfect melodies. This kind of music demand speed, high skills and a lot of practice. The music can vary from traditional melodies to modern party hits.
Apart from the above mentioned “Schuplattler”, our team also can show further traditional dances with man and woman.
Whip cracking is a special performance were experts use a whip and creates an interesting sound. The end of the whip will be accelerated to a speed faster than the sound barrier, this creates an unique sound. Our team members can play with music, which creates an exciting atmosphere.

2016 City Moments organized the first traditional German Christmas Market in Shanghai. The event was completely developed by City Moments, from concept to execution. The event lasted nine days and welcomed nearly 10.000 guests.
